Muixeranga d'Elx is a cultural association founded in September 2022, with the basic aim of spreading our Valencian culture, language and customs through this ancient artistic manifestation: the muixeranga.

Currently, Muixeranga d'Elx is made up of around 50 members who are very diverse in age, gender and background: we are young and old, university students and retirees, babies... We are family, we are from Elx.

The colours of our costumes are those of the flag of the city of Elx, and we are the southernmost muixeranga in the Valencian Country, a benchmark for the city and the southern regions.

Our performance repertoire is very varied; we perform three-level figures such as, for example, the Campana, the Retaule, the Senyeta, the Alçat de Tres, and four-level figures such as the Roscana. We also perform several traditional Valencian dances linked to muixeranga customs, such as the Ball del Floret and the Ball de la Polca d'Ours.

We rehearse every Friday at CEIP Clara Campoamor in Elx, where we work to grow and continue to be a benchmark in the city of Elx and the southern regions.
